Hi everyone, my name is Amy and I LOVE taking old things and making them into something new and fabulous!  I started in this venture when I lived in a brand new house in a starter neighborhood, which means cookie cutter and builder grade!  I had light maple cabinets in all the bathrooms and in the kitchen. I wanted to have the look of something old with what I aleady had.  I had to start with something small, so I decided the master bath was where it would happen!  I LOVE black furniture so I wanted my cabinets to be black and distressed!  After I was finished, there was no turning back!

 We eventually sold that house and moved into a much nicer neighborhood, more established and NOT cookie cutter!  Well low and behold, guess what was in all the bathrooms and kitchen??  WHITE LAMINATE AND LIGHT MAPLE... yup,  here we go again!  I felt like this was the test! I could make THIS house mine, custom looking without spending the money, and not like anyone elses!
